The Day I Proposed....

The day, when it was not so hot and not so cold… the wonderful climate people long for… I proposed my heart's desire to someone and turned his life upside down…

It was a month back, when his eyes met mine and I turned his vision into a kaleidoscope and made his ears listen violins and guitars… I turned his life into a blossoming flower with smell of freshness and an atmosphere so serene. The moment he saw me he did not turn his head… it was little embarrassing but oh god that was a moment to cherish.

He had coffee more than five times a day just because the coffee machine was just next to where I sit. He looked when I passed by and stared when I was in discussion. He stopped for me near the lift and followed me to the eatery just to watch me eat. He rested opposite to the bench I sat and returned only when I turned my heels. He saw to that I drive home safe… everyday he came back to office after I went home. He reached for my mobile number and sent wonderful messages that no one could send and he never was disappointed with no reply received.

He liked to park his bike next to mine and was very unhappy when he did not find my bike. He was so very scared to talk to me and the first two words he spoke was a living out of the dead. The days went by but he never changed, he never attempted for anything more.

The day I decided I tell him the truth; I was so determined and so very unafraid. I went straight to him where he stood stuffed like a soldier undaunted and with a sword so sharp that could hurt someone. I heard his heartbeat like a hammer hitting a rock and felt what he had but that was the moment I had to break the truth... I looked at his eyes and passed the message.. I proposed that I don't love him... He opened his lips for a question he asked and I told him the reason that I cannot be his because I am already someone's.

I never heard his heart shatter, nor felt his roses burn… his choice was a mistake and I couldn't help coz my love awaits and I cannot share it with anyone!!

N.B: This is not a real story and truly Fictitious :)
